Arrested Sherrone Moore puts 5,858-square-foot luxury mansion for sale
Former Michigan head coach Sherrone Moore's time in Ann Arbor seems to be well and truly over. Michigan let Moore go in December 2025 after finding credible evidence that he had an inappropriate relationship with former UM employee Paige Shiver.
Now, roughly seven months since Moore was fired, his home has become the latest thing connected to his name to be put on the market, according to a July 23 report by Detroit Free Press.
Moore's 5,858-square-foot home on Walnut Ridge Drive in Scio Township, near Ann Arbor, has been listed on Realtor.com for $1.7 million. The listing went live this week.
According to the report by Detroit Free Press, Realtor.com's description of the house mentions that it was built in 2005 and includes several luxurious amenities, which have had renovations done worth $300,000.

Moore bought the house in 2023 for $1.3 million, before he was named Michigan's head coach.
The property, which has been Moore's home for three years, sits on a half-acre lot with a pond, a pool, a hot tub, three fireplaces, a three-car garage, and a chef-style kitchen.
Last year, Moore was arrested the same night he was fired for allegedly barging into Shiver's apartment and threatening her.
In April, he was sentenced to 18 months of probation after pleading no contest to two misdemeanors, trespassing and malicious use of a telecommunications device. His attorney, Ellen Michaels, responded to the sentencing outcome on his behalf.
"Sherrone is grateful for this matter to be resolved, and he and his wife, Kelli, are ready to move forward with their family and focus on the next chapter," Michaels said, per the Detroit News.
That statement was made in April. The house listing now confirms what the next chapter looks like. Moore and his family may be moving on from Ann Arbor entirely.
But the controversy surrounding Moore was just the tip of the iceberg. Michigan had several other problems that came to light in the wake of the investigation involving the ex-head coach.

The report concluded that the university did not handle misconduct consistently or promptly. Accountability and transparency slipped in ways that did not meet the university's own standards.
According to ESPN, Athletic director Warde Manuel has since announced he will step down at the end of 2026 in the aftermath of those findings.
Michigan's new head coach Kyle Whittingham, who took over after Moore's firing, opens the 2026 season on September 5 against Western Michigan.
The program is now fully in a new era, with a new coach, a departing AD, and Moore's chapter in Ann Arbor formally closed.
