College football has reached new heights with its international reach. The Arizona State Sun Devils and Kansas Jayhawks faceoff eachother in the Union Jack Classic at the iconic Wembley Stadium in London.

The stadium that famously hosted artists like Queen, Muse, Adele and BTS, is now set to witness these Big 12 powerhouses on September 19, 2026. According to the official announcement from the stadium’s website, ticket sale is live. 

This inaugural Wembley Stadium college football game is the third-ever international Big 12 game. 

“I’ve often said my goal is for the Big 12 to be the most globally relevant conference in college athletics. Expanding our international presence will elevate our brand, create new opportunities for student-athletes, and open the door to meaningful commercial growth for the league,” said Big 12 Commissioner Brett Yormark.

This game is the third one in two seasons to be played in Europe. This journey began in 2025 with Iowa State’s and K-State’s 2025 Aer Lingus College Football Classic season opener in Dublin, Ireland. TCU and North Carolina will compete in the same event to open the 2026 season.  

“The Big 12 is leading the charge to take college football global, and we’re proud to be part of it,” said Arizona State Athletics Director Graham Rossini. 

Kansas shared their thrill over this historic match up too.

“This opportunity is reflective of the growth and trajectory of our football program and the entire University, and will provide our fans and student-athletes an unprecedented experience,” Kansas Director of Athletics Travis Goff said. 

The Sun Devils won against the Jayhawks in a 70-60 game in March this year.

The official website has released the some details on the anticipated show down, to guide fans for the game.

“Experience the best of the sport, the Stadium, and the service. We’ve designed hospitality packages that blend the excitement of the game with the comfort of world-class dining, exclusive lounges, and the finest views in the house,” their message read.

Age Restrictions: No under-2s are permitted.

Since 2007, Wembley Stadium has hosted the NFL’s International Series. London will host three NFL games this season, beginning with the Minnesota Vikings and the Cleveland Browns on October 5 at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
